NATIONAL LAWYERS GUILD-Chicago Chapter

The Northwestern University School of Law Chapter of the NLG aims to further economic justice, social equality, and the advancement of human rights.

The NUSL Chapter of the NLG’s specific goals are to support local campaigns working for social justice; to connect NUSL students to the network of NLG lawyers; to educate ourselves and the NUSL community about grassroots organizing and activism; to expose students to legal careers in social justice; and to participate in a national association of progressive law students and lawyers.

Our mission is to ensure that our country’s founding values of human dignity, individual rights and liberties, genuine equality and access to justice enjoy their rightful, central place in American law.

ACS aims to revitalize and transform the legal and policy debates occurring in law school classrooms, federal and state courtrooms, legislative hearing rooms and the media. We are working every day to advance a progressive vision of the law on issues across the policy spectrum."
